Method 1 – Using PhpMyAdmin

PhpMyAdmin is a free open source software that handles the administration of MySQL over the web. It provides a convenient graphic user interface to work with MySQL database.

1. Go to – localhost/phpmyadmin.

2. Click on “Export” tab at the top of the menu bar.

4. Select “Save output to a file” option in the Output section.

5.Configure any additional details that you want, and click on go at the end.

6. Now your database will be exported a “zip” file or gzip file.

After following all these steps, you will have your database completely backed up.

Method 2- Using CPanel

The backup feature of CPanel can also be used to backup your WordPress database.

1.Login to your hosting control panel and scroll down to the files section to the Backup button.

2. On the backups page, scroll down to partial backups section.

3.Click on your database name to download your database backup file.
