After you Active the theme go to Appearance>>Customize option at the left sidebar of the website.
You can see Footer Settings and Footer Elements on the left side of your website. Make changes in those two options to edit the footer of your WordPress website.
Now, go to the Footer Layouts option from the Footer Settings. There you get three different footer layouts. Analyze and choose the best layout for your website.
