WordPress is very flexible content management system. You can setup media configuration in WordPress. After you upload an image, WordPress converts it to different sizes for different purposes. By default, 3 image sizes are provided (besides original image):
- Thumbnail size: 150 x 150
- Medium size: 300 x 300
- Large size: 1024 x 1024
What if you need thumbnails of another dimension? Or the medium image with 400 x 400 px dimension?
