If you have lost your WordPress password, you can easily reset or recover your password with a few simple steps. If you simply want to change your password in WordPress, please do keep reading.
To change your password, first, you will need to login to your WordPress site. After you have logged in, go to Users>Your Profile. As you scroll down in the “Your Profile” section, you will see an option to “Generate Password” as shown in the screenshot below.
Click on the “Generate Password” option, thereafter fill the “New Password” box with the password of your choice. It is highly preferred that you put up an alphanumeric password with symbols and multiple cases (i.e. uppercase and lowercase). After you have set the password of your choice, scroll down and click on “Update Profile”.
Congratulations, your password will now have been successfully changed!
