Post is one of the default post types of WordPress which is generally used for regularly published blog articles. They appear in the RSS feed of your website.

Step 1:
Log in to WordPress Dashboard. Click on the Posts >> Add New menu.
Step 2:
You’ll reach to Add new post page. Enter the post title as shown in below screenshot. Enter your post content. By default, you’ll have the visual editor which enable you to format your page visually as you do in any Word Pressing software. It helps you to create brilliant post easily.
Finally, hit Publish button on the right side of the page as shown in below screenshot.

How to Schedule a WordPress Post?
WordPress allows you to schedule the post. It means you can ask WordPress to publish the post at the time pre-defined by you. Isn’t it awesome? Now, let’s learn to schedule a WordPress post.
Step 1:
In the Publish widget, Click on the Edit button of ‘Publish immediately’ as shown in the screenshot below.
Step 2:
You’ll see the option to set date and time. Set the date and time in which you want the post to get published.
Click on the OK button below it.
Step 3:
You’ll see Schedule button instead of Publish button. Click on the Schedule button.
Your post is successfully scheduled for the time specified by you.

How to Create a Password protected WordPress Post?
Step 1:
In the Publish widget, click on the ‘Edit‘ link of Visibility option.
Step 2:
Click on the radio button ‘Password protected‘.

Now, click on the ‘Update‘ button.
You have successfully password Protected your WordPress post.

How to insert image/video in your WordPress post?
Images are the basic elements of any web page. You certainly will have to insert related images in your post. Here’s how you can insert image or video in your WordPress post.
Step 1:
Click on the place of the post where you want to insert image or video.
Click on the Add Media button as shown below.
Step 2:
Media uploader of WordPress opens. Drag and drop the image or video that you want to upload.
Your media is uploaded and selected.
Enter the title and alternative text to the media.
Click on the ‘Insert into post‘ button.
Your media is inserted in your post.
Want to align the image?
Click on the image. You will see options as shown in below screenshot. You can align the image by clicking on the icon related to it.
