Tag is one of the predefined taxonomy for WordPress. Tag helps to arrange the posts. When a tag is clicked, you’ll reach to the archive page of that tag. Tags are optional in WordPress and can be used as the keywords for the post. You can enter as many tags as you want for your post. You can display tags in the widget in addition to bottom or top of the page. (as defined by theme).
In this tutorial, we are going to learn how to add tags to your WordPress post.
Step 1:
You can see Tags module on the left side of Visual Editor. Enter the tags for the post separating each with commas. You can add as many tags as you need.
Click on the ‘Add‘ button.
Step 2:
Your tags are added. You can click on the cross sign if your want to remove any of the tags you added.
Now, click on the publish or update button to save the changes you made on the post.
